China's stock market soars in Hong Kong amid rising economic optimism.

(Bloomberg) - Hong Kong's Chinese stocks rose as traders returned from a two-day break, following Monday's gains in onshore shares on fresh signs of economic recovery.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose as much as 2.4%, led by Xiaomi Corp. and Trip.com Group Ltd.

On Monday, mainland stocks rose the most in a month after two sets of data showed China's manufacturing activity expanded, the latest green shoots for the economy, along with strong exports and rising consumer prices. In another sign of growing optimism among global investors, foreign funds poured into onshore stocks through trading links with Hong Kong for the second month in a row through March, after an unprecedented six-month outflow of capital.
