Final Four women's tickets sell for an average of $2,300 on the resale market, twice the price of men's tickets
The average ticket price for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) women's Final Four on the resale market this week was twice as expensive as the men's semifinal, according to a technology company that analyzes ticket prices across multiple platforms.
Logitix reported Wednesday that the average price of a ticket for the women's semifinal was $2,323; the average price for the men's semifinal was $1,001.21.
Friday's women's action at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland will feature Iowa State versus Connecticut and South Carolina versus North Carolina. Including sales data from a month ago and beyond, the average price for the women's semifinals was $1,131.78, compared to $400.29 for the same period in 2023.
Saturday's men's game pits Purdue against North Carolina State and Connecticut against Alabama at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, with a capacity of 63,400. Total aggregate ticket prices for the men's semifinals are $993.70 compared to $636.43 in 2023.
The average ticket price for the Women's Championship on Sunday is $1,110.63. The average ticket price for Monday's men's championship game is $646.45.
Iowa has sold out all but two games this season at home, on the road and at neutral sites.
A ticket with entry to both Women's Semi-Finals is worth US$400 in flour and US$200 for the Championship. A Men's Semi-Final ticket costs US$900 and a Championship ticket costs US$250.
